原來我不是不會背

高中時選類組毫不猶豫地選了自然組。倒不是因為是男人就要念自然組，社會組女生太多不想變成娘娘腔。而是因為我的「背誦」能力太差，只能倚靠數理化。真的，我國文英文依然是極弱，舉凡單字、片語、解釋、課文我都背不好（天啊！是誰發明背國文解釋的）。可以我卻可以準確地記下方程式或是金屬錳可以有哪些氧化數。

直到今天，我才發現，原來「我可以背」（我已經把個人懶惰這個因素扣除了）。##CONTINUE##

我背東西的第一個法則是：要作結構分析。

舉例而言，早上在背系統神學裡老師對 “系統神學”(Systematic Theology)的定義如下：

"The Study of the nature of God and the character of his dealing with the worlds as revealed in the history of Israel and the New Testament, articulated in the life and witness of the Christian church" - Bruce Field

我試了很久都背不下來，但～改成以下的方式我居然就全背下來了：

首先我要分析出，系統神學是一種 study，然後有兩個面向 nature & character，最後是補述這兩個面向的兩個重要動詞 revealed & articulated。以上為我記憶的方式。

我的第二個法則：有關連性的東西越多越好記。

繼續舉例，單獨背一般啟示(General Revelation)與特殊啟示(Special Revelation)是很困難的。

General Revelation:
Disclosure of God in nature, in providential history, and in the moral law within the heart, whereby all persons at all times and places gain a rudimentary understanding of the Creator and his moral demands.

Special Revelation:
God's self-disclosure through signs and miracles, the utterances of prophets and apostles, and the deeds and words of Jesus Christ, whereby specific people of particular times and places, gain further understanding of God's character and a knowledge of his saving purpose in His Son.

所以我就要這樣把它記下來：

嗯！當我寫完後我才發現我居然到廿八歲才了解自己要怎麼背東西，有點小可悲。但至少，對於記憶這檔事，較不怕了。
